Chess ratings
Wondering where to find your Chessa or FIDE numbers and ratings?
Chessa allocates membership numbers once you have played in a Chessa-rated event. FIDE typically issues numbers once a federation (Chessa) submits your details after you have played in FIDE-rated events.
You get a FIDE rating by playing in officially recognized FIDE tournaments, avhieving at least a 1400 rating, and completing at least five rated games (with at least a draw or win against a rated player). After which your rating appears on the monthly FIDE list. Chessa rating starts at 1200 and changes according to your results & based on your opponents’ ratings.
